Converse X Google

How do you make the world’s most Rock’n’Roll sneaker – the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star – even more Rock’n’Roll?

How about turning it into a working wah wah pedal, complete with twin jack ports in the front to plug your guitar and amp into it?

Whilst at Agency Republic (now part of Critical Mass), I concepted the 'All Wah' trainer for CreativeSocial, Converse and Google's ‘Hack-a-Chuck’ competition, judged in Cannes. With the help of a talented bunch of colleagues – whom are a dab-hand with soldering irons, cameras and scalpels – this vision became a reality: a fully working flex-sensing wah-wah wonder!
